Hi, I'm River (she/her) and I'm passionate about providing outstanding photojournalism portraiture to the Atlanta area. With my camera, I create art from the everyday. I see the grand scope distilled into a pocket-sized memento. I commit it to permanency. I give you tangible time capsules from your life - moments to hold alive and close for a lifetime.
The past couple years, I started to lose my connection to my inner artist. Good news is, I'm starting to hear her again, and I'm ready to create. In 2022 and onward, I will be focusing in deeply on the things that stir my soul: Connection. Emotion. Movement. Poignancy.

Atlanta area micro-weddings are $3,150 for six hours of coverage. (0-30 guests.)
Elopements/civil ceremonies are $1,900 for four hours.

This is not your typical family photo shoot. There is no posing or “look at the camera!” whatsoever. Instead, I document the real and very fleeting chapters of family life in an honest and photojournalistic way. Let's play in the yard, read a book, make a mess, take a walk down the street, visit grandma, make cookies, go to the grocery store, or have a bubble bath. These are the moments that disappear so quickly and are worth so much—let me capture them for you.
Details: Just me and my camera following along as I visit for three hours. If your home isn't beautiful or perfect, no worries - that is not the point of these sessions. REMEMBER: this is not a posed session, but it is planned. We brainstorm together prior to booking and I’ll help identify what you love most about time with your family and how to capture it. You can expect 200+ images crafted by hand that will be priceless works of art for years to come.
